1. Her biggest secret to success is God

"Every single thing I have done, I have put him first," Abudu shared in March 2017.
She also shared the secret to the success of her record breaking movie "The Wedding Party," which screened at the Toronto International Film Festival before emerging the highest grossing Nollywood movie.

2. She is the chairman and Executive producer of EbonyLife TV

On June 30, 2013, MO Abudu's TV Network EbonyLife, began broadcasting to a pan-African audience.
The channel is distributed to 49 African countries, including South Africa and Southern African countries.
So far, EbonyLlife TV has produced and aired original shows like "Sons of the Caliphate," "Fifty the Series" and "The Governor."

3. She was popular for her talk show 'Moments with Mo'

For years, MO Abudu was the host of the TV talk show, Moments with Mo: the first syndicated daily talk show on African regional television.
Throughout its run, Moments with Mo hosted an impressive list of guests that includes Hilary Clinton, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Mohammadu Buhari, Olusegun Obasanjo, General Ibrahim Babangida, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Wole Soyinka among others.
The show addressed topics ranging from politics, entertainment, culture, health and inspiring events.

4. A proud mother of two

The media mogul is a proud mother of two: a daughter and a son.
Her daughter Temidayo Abudu is also a filmmaker. She is the producer of the TV series, "On the Real."

5. Venture into Filmmaking

In 2014, Abudu ventured into filmmaking with the record breaking "Fifty," via her production company EbonyLife Films.
In 2016, she co-produced "The Wedding Party," which already has a sequel scheduled for a  December 2017 release.

Her latest production "The Royal Hibiscus Hotel" recently premiered at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival.
Abudu recently completed an intensive 3-week course for directors at the London Film School and is most likely to make her directorial debut soon.

In the two years since she made her debut as a filmmaker, Abudu has become an auteur,  who controls and influences all aspects of a creative work.
